With nearly three decades of experience working in dentistry, Lori is our resident resource for all things related to front office operations. From scheduling appointments to insurance coverage, she’s always happy to help and answer any questions you may have. Part of what makes her job so much fun, she says, is seeing how a patient’s smile and confidence change following the completion of treatment. Lori truly loves getting to know you and your family while working alongside a team of professionals who make patient happiness a top priority. When she’s not helping out at the office, Lori is usually spending time with her family, caring for her granddaughter, and soaking up some sun at the beach.
Heather joined our practice in August of 2017 after graduating from Cape Fear Community College and then taking a little break to be a stay-at-home mom. As a dental assistant, she gets to meet new and interesting people every single day and has a direct effect on helping patients achieve their dental wants and needs. She loves that the practice is small and personal, and that Dr. LaMura does not push unnecessary treatments on patients.
Outside of work, you’ll find Heather spending time with her family, including her husband, 2 kids, three dogs, and a cat. They love taking family vacations, watching movies, and playing games together.
Allison is a graduate of Central Carolina Community College who says she loves her job because there’s always a chance to get to meet new patients, understand their needs, and help their smile look and feel its very best. She chose a career in dental hygiene after watching and working with her mother — who is a dental assistant. At the office, you might find Allison cleaning teeth and examining patients to assess their oral health needs. Part of what makes her job so important are the educational, preventive care tips and tricks she shares with our family of patients about the different ways they can improve or maintain their oral health. We love Allison because she approaches all that she does with independence, responsibility, passion, and a cheerful enthusiasm. She loves spending time with her puppy Daisy, playing tennis, doing Crossfit, and relaxing at the beach.
